White 15 Second Icing
Light Pink and a Slightly Darker Pink 15 Second Icing

With the gray icing, make a thick line for the top of the platter. I know mine looks crooked but it just looks that way because of the martini cutter imprint. I promise, when we add the white, it will look straight. At least that is what I am telling myself! LOL
Then, make a half circle for the center of the platter.
Next, make the base. Let this dry for about 20 minutes.
Next, make a line above the base.
Then, outline and fill in the part under the top of the platter. Let these dry for 20 minutes.
Next, outline and fill the last part. That wasn’t hard was it? I actually thought it was fun! Now for the roses.
I found this sticker and wanted to make these roses for these cookies. Aren’t they cute? I didn’t want to pipe them directly onto the cookie because, I wanted to add some Disco Dust. I only wanted the roses to sparkle and not the entire cake. So, I made a royal icing transfer.

I started with 15 second white icing. I made some shapes that resembled the clip art roses. Let them dry for several hours. Anytime you make RI transfers, you need to make a lot of extras because they break very easily.
The roses are really fun! Don’t worry about being perfect on these. The more relaxed you are the better they will look.
In the first picture, you can see how I took the light 15 second icing and made a swirl.
In the second picture, I added some half circles to look like petals.
In the last picture, you can see I just added a few more half circles until I made my way around the rose.
I didn’t show this part but, you will need to make some individual roses. Make a few of the bigger light pink ones and a few of the darker pink small ones. You will need these for the bottom two tiers.
With the darker pink icing, repeat the swirl step. You don’t need to do much here because, it is a much smaller space. The swirl is enough without adding the petals.
With a brush, sprinkle disco dust over the roses while the pink icing is wet. This will give your finished cookie a little bling!
Let these dry over night so you can easily remove them from the wax paper.
Now for the cake. With the white 15 second icing, outline and flood the top tier of the cake. While it is wet, add the first rose RI transfer.
Then, outline and flood the bottom tier of the cake. While the icing is wet, add the first RI transfer on the right side of the tier.
Then, add a single light pink RI transfer to the other side of the tier. It is starting to look good! Let this dry for another 20 minutes.
Now repeat the steps for the middle tier. The only thing different is, the rose on the left side of the middle tier is a small darker pink one. The only reason I did it that way was because it fit in that space better and didn’t look cluttered.
I would not be brave enough to ship these cookies because I would be afraid the cake stand might break. I will make them for local weddings or even a birthday parties.
Well, there you have it. This is my attempt at being a girly girl. I don’t have wicked mad girl skills but if I set my mind to it, I can make some Non-TomBoyish cookies.
